About Protocol X-16

Protocol X-16 is a retro top-down action-adventure game developed in GB Studio.

An emergency blackout has locked down a classified underground research complex. As a operative Alex, you must navigate through  lab sectors, secure vital data, establish contact via the rooftop beacon, and locate your escort to execute the extraction protocol.

• Exploration: Navigate multiple distinct sectors including Bunker Shelters, Security Corridors, Research Labs, and the Rooftop Area.
• Mission Objectives: Restore power, activate the emergency beacon, and secure the VIP/escort before time runs out.
• Authentic Retro Aesthetics: Built specifically for Game Boy hardware constraints featuring pixel-art environments.
